Build a case-based scorecard
Include a repeat customer, an approval, a cross-team investigation and a digital-to-voice handoff. Score context visibility, ownership, process support and history. Voz360 conversation management and Customer360 can be evaluated against those same cases instead of a generic feature checklist.
Check implementation and operating fit
Ask who will maintain forms, properties, routing rules and integrations. Review optional AI, quality and workforce modules only where they solve a defined need. A platform that matches the workflow still requires practical rollout ownership and a complete commercial proposal.
Use an approval case to compare vendors
Give each vendor the same sample request requiring a decision beyond agent authority. Ask them to demonstrate the handoff, pending state and customer update. Score the visible record and ownership, then note any custom work or optional module required to achieve the workflow.
Select a representative case portfolio
Choose cases by complexity rather than channel alone: one agent resolves a simple enquiry, two teams collaborate on an investigation and an approval controls a sensitive outcome. Include a reopened request. This portfolio exposes differences that a generic shared-inbox demonstration can miss.
Write the desired customer result and the evidence an agent needs to achieve it. Keep the test data synthetic. Do not let a supplier replace a difficult case with a polished but unrelated scenario.
Check the work relationships explicitly
For an illustrative disputed invoice, decide whether specialist work belongs in the same conversation, a linked request or a parent-child structure. Demonstrate transfers, notes, required fields and approvals with the intended users. Ask what happens when one part is completed before the other.
Test permissions using both an agent and supervisor role. The ability to display a record is different from permission to edit, approve or export it. Inspect the end-to-end history after a correction or reassignment.
Convert observations into a shortlist
Record fit, configuration effort, dependencies and unresolved questions for each case. Identify critical gaps before comparing totals. Include the people who will maintain the workflow after launch, since an elaborate process without an owner may deteriorate quickly.
Use conversation management as the product context. Move shortlisted workflows into an acceptance plan so the selection evidence becomes implementation criteria.
Your practical checklist
- Select difficult cases
- Score visible evidence
- Assign administrators
- Compare full implementation scope
Use this checklist in a workflow review with your agents, supervisors and implementation owners. Record what the team demonstrates, which decisions need an owner and what remains to be confirmed for your deployment.

Scenarios, worksheets and diagrams are illustrative; they are not customer results or application screenshots. Configuration, carrier services, integrations and commercial terms are scoped for each deployment.
