Choose a well-bounded interaction
For voice AI in Voz360, define the request, permitted response and handoff condition for the STT, LLM and TTS workflow. For assisted agents, test live transcription and recommendations. Digital chatbot behavior or specific self-service automations should be demonstrated for the intended implementation rather than assumed.
Preserve a usable human handoff
An unsupported request, unclear identity or missing information needs a defined destination. Test how an agent understands what has already happened. Review incomplete interactions and customer feedback to decide whether to refine the scope, improve the context or change the escalation rule.
Test a request the automated flow cannot finish
Give the proposed AI or self-service journey an exception that needs a person. Inspect the handoff, the context available to the agent and the customer's next step. Confirm the actual supported behavior during implementation before describing the use case as a completed automation.
Choose requests suitable for self-service
Start with routine, bounded tasks whose information and permitted actions are clear. Separate answering an approved question from changing an account or making a commitment. The latter requires confirmed integration scope, authorization and appropriate controls.
Retain a human path when the request exceeds scope, remains unclear or the customer asks for a person. Define operating hours and the fallback when no human is available. Self-service should not become an obstacle to reaching accountable help.
Rehearse an exception-heavy customer call
An illustrative caller asks a routine question, then introduces a disputed charge. The Voice AI should recognize the boundary and follow the configured escalation path, carrying forward appropriate verified context. Ask the human agent to identify the outstanding issue without making the customer restart.
Repeat with an unavailable external service and an interrupted utterance. Review the actual transcript and outcome. Avoid treating a fluent response or low transfer rate as proof of accurate task completion.
Evaluate the whole resolution path
Track successful task outcomes, requested handoffs, incomplete actions and repeat contact. Sample interactions that remained in self-service as well as those escalated. A failed escalation can otherwise disappear inside an apparently successful automation measure.
Use the Voice AI customer-service solution and Voice AI product to confirm phone or web scope, permitted integrations and handoff behavior for the deployment. Keep agent-facing assistance a separate evaluation where relevant.
Your practical checklist
- Define one request
- Test unsupported intent
- Inspect human handoff
- Review incomplete interactions
Use this checklist in a workflow review with your agents, supervisors and implementation owners. Record what the team demonstrates, which decisions need an owner and what remains to be confirmed for your deployment.
