Inbound assistance starts with intent
A caller may arrive with an issue the agent has not seen. Test transcription and recommendations against a clear request, an ambiguous request and incomplete history. Voz360 supports real-time transcription and agentic recommendations; agents need a way to validate the proposed next step.
Outbound assistance starts with purpose
An outbound agent should know why the call is being made and what prior contact exists. Evaluate the chosen dialer mode and available context together. After either type of call, review QA scoring against the agreed rubric and inspect errors before using results for coaching.
Compare two assistance scenarios
Use an inbound request with unclear intent and an outbound task with a known purpose. Inspect the context the agent receives and how recommendations differ. Record errors separately for each scenario so a successful demonstration of one workflow does not hide problems in the other.
Start with the different operating purpose
Inbound work begins with a customer request that needs understanding and ownership. Outbound work begins with an approved contact purpose, a prepared list and an expected next action. AI assistance may support both, but the context and safeguards should reflect those differences.
For inbound calls, relevant history and accurate interpretation of the current issue matter. For outbound calls, the agent needs correct contact context, permitted purpose and an outcome process. Neither workflow should produce commitments unsupported by the record.
Compare two illustrative assistance tests
For inbound, ask the agent to review a recommendation on a repeat billing enquiry where an old issue is already resolved. For outbound, use a renewal follow-up where the customer requests a different time or declines further contact. Review the suggestion against the actual record and required process.
Keep live agent recommendations separate from autonomous Voice AI handling. The latter needs its own scope, action permissions and human escalation path. Do not imply that enabling one feature automatically enables the other.
Use workload-specific review criteria
Measure factual corrections, relevant next actions and avoidable rework for each workload. Inspect contact-purpose and escalation errors separately. A combined AI adoption percentage will not explain why one workflow benefits and another does not.
Review AI assistance alongside outbound operations. For autonomous spoken customer handling, evaluate the distinct Voice AI solution and its human-handoff requirements.
Your practical checklist
- Test ambiguous inbound intent
- Review outbound purpose
- Validate recommendations
- Inspect QA disagreements
Use this checklist in a workflow review with your agents, supervisors and implementation owners. Record what the team demonstrates, which decisions need an owner and what remains to be confirmed for your deployment.
