Define the role of AI in a cloud call center

AI should have a defined role in the service process, such as preparing a reply, assisting a call or reviewing quality. Treat those roles as separate evaluation projects.

Start with assistance the team can review

In Voz360, agents can use drafts, reply enhancement and history-based recommendations. Voice work can use real-time transcription and recommendations. Test the input context and the quality of the proposed action, then document when the agent should ignore or escalate the suggestion.

Evaluate automation and quality independently

Voice AI combines STT, LLM and TTS, while AI QA scores interactions against a review process. Agree the task boundaries and scoring rubric before rollout. Human review of errors and disputed outcomes is part of operating the capability responsibly.

Choose a reviewable first use case

Start with a common request where staff already understand the correct answer and escalation conditions. Compare AI output with that reference in a small pilot. Keep errors separated by task, because a drafting issue, transcription mistake and disputed quality score require different corrective work.

Your practical checklist

  • Separate AI roles
  • Inspect input context
  • Define task boundaries
  • Review errors with supervisors

Use this checklist in a workflow review with your agents, supervisors and implementation owners. Record what the team demonstrates, which decisions need an owner and what remains to be confirmed for your deployment.

Put the workflow into practice.

Bring a representative customer request and an exception to a Voz360 demonstration. Review the agent experience, the supervisor view and the record left for the next person. Confirm package scope, optional modules and provider dependencies before planning rollout.
