Use AI and automation together in conversation management

Automation and AI support different kinds of work. Rules define predictable transitions, while AI can assist with interpretation and response preparation. Make their responsibilities explicit.

Use rules for a defined process

In Voz360, routing rules, workflow rules and automation can organize a conversation according to its properties and process. Specify the trigger, required data and next owner. Test a missing value or exception so the request does not disappear between normal paths.

Use AI where interpretation is needed

AI routing, draft generation, reply enhancement and history-based recommendations can support the agent's task. Review representative outputs and keep an escalation path for uncertain or unsuitable results. The combined workflow should remain understandable to the people who operate and supervise it.

Review a rule and an AI suggestion together

Use a sample request with a missing property and ambiguous wording. Inspect the rule-based route and any AI recommendation separately. Give the agent or supervisor a clear decision path when those signals disagree, then record the configuration or process changes needed before broader use.

Your practical checklist

  • Specify the trigger
  • Test missing values
  • Review AI suggestions
  • Keep escalation visible

Use this checklist in a workflow review with your agents, supervisors and implementation owners. Record what the team demonstrates, which decisions need an owner and what remains to be confirmed for your deployment.

Put the workflow into practice.

Bring a representative customer request and an exception to a Voz360 demonstration. Review the agent experience, the supervisor view and the record left for the next person. Confirm package scope, optional modules and provider dependencies before planning rollout.
